How to build a habit streak in Todowl
Step-by-step: add a habit to Todowl's monthly grid, mark it daily, and read the streak and completion-rate numbers without overthinking the setup.
Todowl's habit tracker is a monthly calendar grid: one row per habit, one cell per day. Setting one up and reading your streak takes about three minutes.
-
Open the habit tracker
From the sidebar, go to Habits. You will see the current month as a grid, empty until you add a habit.
-
Add the habit
Name it something specific enough to mark honestly - "Read 10 pages" is easier to judge than "Read more" - and pick a time of day to group it under.
-
Mark it daily
Tap the cell for today once the habit is done. A marked cell fills in; an empty one just stays empty, no penalty view.
-
Watch the streak build
Consecutive marked days form a streak, shown next to the habit's row. Breaking a day resets the streak but not the month's completion rate.
-
Check the completion rate at the end of the month
Todowl shows the percentage of days you marked the habit for the month, so one bad week does not erase the rest of it from view.
