Questions people ask before signing up
Is Todowl really free?
Yes. The whole app is free while it is in early access: unlimited tasks, notes, habits and transactions, with no card and no trial countdown. Paid plans will come later, and we will announce what changes before anything changes.
What can I actually track today?
Tasks and projects, a weekly and monthly calendar, notes, habits, and money with multi-currency transactions, budgets, subscriptions and goals. Sport, reading, sleep and a watchlist are being built and appear in the app marked as coming soon.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Todowl runs at app.todowl.com in any modern browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. You can add it to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app.
Can I use the calendar I already have?
Yes. You can subscribe to an external calendar so its events show up in your Todowl week next to your tasks, instead of forcing you to move everything by hand.
Is my data private?
Your data lives on our own servers, not on a third-party analytics platform. Every table is protected by row-level security, so one account can never read another. We do not sell data and we do not run ads.
Which languages does Todowl speak?
The app and this site are available in English and Russian, and you can switch between them at any time. More languages will follow once the core is settled.
Can I export what I put in?
Yes. Your transactions and history can be exported, and we treat data portability as a requirement rather than a feature. Nothing you create is locked to us.
What if I only need one part of it?
That is fine. Plenty of people use Todowl only for tasks and the calendar, or only for money. The sections you ignore stay out of your way in the sidebar.
